About Teesside Alarm Installation
Teesside homeowners, landlords and businesses get competitive, written quotes for alarms and CCTV here, free and in writing. Every quote should name the equipment room by room, state the grade, and confirm that the codes end up in your name.
Security is the trade where two quotes can both say "alarm system supplied and fitted, £600" and describe entirely different things. One is a surveyed design with the right detector in each room, a grade written on the paperwork and the panel handed over unlocked. The other is a box off a shelf, three sensors in the obvious places and a code nobody will give you in three years. This site exists to push every quote towards the first format, so you can compare on substance rather than on the headline figure.
How it works
Tell us about the property: house or business, what you want protected, and your postcode. The enquiry goes to one independent local alarm installation contractor covering your area, who looks at the property properly and puts a fixed written price together. Burglar alarms, wireless systems, CCTV, repairs and upgrades, smart panels and annual servicing all follow the same standard.
The standards we hold quotes to
- A room by room schedule: every detector, contact, camera and sounder listed with its position, not a single line saying "alarm fitted".
- The grade stated: Grade 2 to BS EN 50131 or PD 6662 for most homes, written down so an insurer can be answered without guessing.
- Clear activation behaviour: bells only, app notification or monitoring, with any annual contract priced as its own line.
- Codes in your name: user codes set up for you and the engineer code released, so any future work is open to competition.
- Cabling and making good: where the wires run, how they are concealed, and what gets patched before anyone leaves.
- Warranty and servicing: the parts and labour period in writing, plus what an annual visit costs if you want one.
Who runs it
The site is run by 360 Media Works Ltd, a Teesside company founded by Simon Hogben, from Varsity House on the Preston Farm estate in Stockton-on-Tees. The guides are written to be useful whether or not you ever request a quote here, which is why they include real figures and the awkward questions a sales page tends to skip.
